Nam Liong Global Joins Tainan 400 Future Living Pavilion Opening

The "Tainan 400 Future Living - Future Time Gate" themed exhibition held its preview press conference on October 19, 2024, at the Tree Valley Life Science Museum and will officially open on October 26, 2024, running through November 10, 2024. With over 400 years of rich history and cultural heritage, Tainan stands as a vital cultural hub in Taiwan. Future development will focus on preserving these cultural traditions while integrating modern technology and local industries, fostering innovations in smart manufacturing, creative design, and the cultural economy. 

Local companies enthusiastically joined forces to create an exceptional exhibition experience for visitors. Co-organizers of this event include Etron Electronics, Chunghwa Telecom, Hoyu Textile Co., Ltd., Ho Min Textile Co., Ltd., Syshin Advanced Tech Co., Ltd., Nam Liong Global Co., Ltd., Hon-Tai Hydrogel World, Formosa Optical’s Eye Fun Zone, Airmate International’s tourism factory, Apex Aviation, Sampo Corporation, and the Tree Valley Life Science Museum. These Tainan-based companies not only showcase their impressive innovative capabilities but also reflect a profound commitment to the development of local culture and technological progress. 

In this year’s Taiwan Design Expo, Nam Liong Global has partnered with Taiwan’s well-known wetsuit brand Aropec. Nam Liong Global provides eco-friendly, high-performance insulating materials, while Aropec contributes its expert design and manufacturing techniques. Together, they have created a comprehensive wetsuit suitable for various water sports, both on and under the water, combining sustainability with functionality. 

Each year, Taiwan generates approximately 150,000 to 180,000 tons of discarded oyster shells. These shells, often left along coastal roads, not only spoil the city’s appearance but also pose an environmental threat as the residual meat on the shells decays in high temperatures, emitting foul odors and contributing to severe pollution.Nam Liong Global, guided by its commitment to environmental sustainability, has ingeniously repurposed this local waste—oyster shells—by combining them with bio-based materials such as sugarcane, rubber tree, and non-edible plant oils. This innovative approach led to the development of an eco-friendly wetsuit material, certified by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. This material reduces reliance on petroleum and significantly mitigates environmental pollution, offering a cleaner, greener future for the planet. 

Nam Liong Group’s health and wellness sector, represented by Nam Liong Global’s H&H Health Tech Products, introduces a variety of consumer health products to Tainan residents, including the SleepWell Series for restful sleep and the Energy Tech Series for daily wellness. High-quality textiles play a key role in promoting a healthier lifestyle. Additionally, the health division has launched New Dans Yogurt Drink from Yuan Yun Food Co., Ltd. This locally produced yogurt offers a smooth, delicious taste and will be available for sampling on the opening day, inviting the community to experience it firsthand and celebrate the strong local connections fostered by the health and wellness industry throughout the day.
